Home Is Where the People Are
Another short post as I feel that maybe I should just start writing before my thoughts and ideas continue to pile up.
It’s currently June 2nd at 0515. The birds are chirping and the blue of the morning glowing. I am very much suffering from jet lag. But I’m hoping for the best today and tonight as I try not to nap and restart my routine.
Along with jet lag, I am suffering from post travel depression. I never thought I would love Japan as much as I did. But what made me love it and what made my trip the way it was- were the people I spent it with.
They were home when I was far from it. And the beauty was we stayed separately yet met up for more than half of the trip.
I will more than likely elaborate on this post and make it mushy, but wow. I love my friends and our first time in Japan together. From Osaka to Tokyo and everywhere in between.
Home is where the people are and I’m glad home was on the other side of the world with me.
